Senior/Junior Software Developer – Mobile, Web, or Server Development

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse requirements, produce technical designs, create the application, conduct software testing, implement the software solution and support production issues.
  • Web Developers are responsible for the development of web-based applications (Java).
  • Mobile Developers are responsible for the development of Java/Symbian applications for mobile phones.
  • Server Developers are responsible for the development of the database and back-end solutions.
  • Seniors will mentor and develop junior staff
  • Troubleshoot product issues in development, test and production.

System Administrator

Rules and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for system reliability and data integrity of the file server and mail server.
  • Responsible for planning and executing system backups/restores, patching and upgrades.
  • Work with the various Application Development and Support teams to design and implement new services and product, providing input on architecture, sizing and fault tolerance.
  • Recommends and directs changes to improve the IT infrastructure and procedures to meet the growing and changing requirements of the organization.
  • To continuously monitor the organization’s IT infrastructure and systems and act proactively to resolve any risks or potential issues.
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of PCs, laptops and etc. This includes new hardware and software installation, network configuration and office application.
  • Troubleshoot any problems with server, network, web services, mail services, firewall policies and anti-spam.
  • Ensure all hardware are running at optimum level, and all services are up and running to ensure no service interruption.

Requirements:

Marketing and PR Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of key media, public relations, advertising agencies, corporate communication and government bodies.
  • Develop, plan and execute complete public relations programs and event management within the organization and the public.
  • Develop and enhance an overall integrated communication strategy that ensures strong influential relationships with all internal and external parties of the organization.
  • Prepare, edit and proof read publications, product information including newsletters, press kit materials, events, sales and marketing initiatives, presentation and speeches.

Corporate Affairs & Legal/Contract Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft and negotiate corporate, commercial and technical agreements.
  • Provision legal support to the business units, which will include advising on all pre-contract and post contract issues and the provision of commercial solutions.
  • Attend and conduct meetings or discussion with external parties (ie vendors/providers customers).
  • Coordinate with external lawyers in all legal matters including documentation, litigation, dispute resolution etc.
  • Participate and advice on all business dealings of the Group such as corporate restructuring, merger and acquisitions, formation of business venture and joint ventures.
  • Management and administration of Group legal database.

Project Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze and create detailed documentation of business processes, user needs and work flow designs.
  • Manage the requirements definition and documentation for the program or projects through the use of traceable, high quality processes and tools
  • Preparation of network lifecycle plans, including capacity, spares, security and disaster recovery plans
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical and operational requirements by:
    • Performing analysis to capture business requirements
    • Writing release design documents and solution architecture documents as required
    • Ensuring completion and managing quality of all requirements design documents and solution architecture documents
    • Initiating and managing the requirements traceability matrix for each capability release

Technical Solution Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:

As Technical Solution Consultant, you are responsible for designing and implementing all technical aspects of the solutions that Nexbis implements for our clients, and also maintain the client relationship with Nexbis customers.  Your role is important to ensure that what is delivered meets all client requirements and expectations.  This is a very rewarding and challenging leadership position with lots of responsibility and interaction with customers. You will also have ample opportunity to work with new and cutting-edge technology. To be successful in this position, you need to have great communication skills, problem solving skills and an ability to influence and negotiate. 

  • Provide technical sales support through technical solution presentations, technical proposals, solutions demonstrations, proof-of-concepts or managed trials.
  • Responsible for all phases of implementation planning, technical discovery and project plan creation and management.
  • As needed, provide a "trusted expert advisor" role as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers.
  • Conduct technical training of service usage and administration for all customers and users.
  • Lead and support local implementation, management and maintenance of Nexbis’s Data centre and Storage solution offerings including the pre-sales and the actual delivery activities.
  • Develop personal rapport and professional respect with field sales and professional services teams.
  • Prioritize time to focus on highly qualified, larger opportunities with target prospects.

Operations Manager

The role of the Operations Manager is to manage the operations team, in order to execute, deliver projects according to strict deadlines and budgets, lead business development and project tendering activities, provide technical expertise, support and maintenance for both internal and external clients. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Prepare proposal, bid and tender documents.
  • Work closely with commercial division to identify the new requirements or business opportunities of existing customers.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure the best solution and pricing is provided for any business opportunity.

  • To ensure that quality is built into the deliverables and the software and processes meet defined quality standards.
  • To improve on existing QA process and workflow for software quality assurance.
  • To improve on and maintain the existing guideline for test case, UAT and deployment.
  • To improve on and maintain the existing guideline on coding standards.
  • To improve on and maintain the guideline for document management and document tracking in software development environment.

Job Description:

  • Performs monthly accounts closing and consolidation report for the Group
  • Prepares accounts reconciliations and monthly journals.
  • Supervise and review the work of accounts executive.
  • Implementation of an effective financial reporting and accounting system.
  • Undertakes ad-hoc assignments and duties as may be directed from time to time.
  • Assists in review of financial modeling for project feasibility studies.

Job Prerequisites:

  • Minimum Degree in Accountancy.
  • At least 6 years experience in Audit/ Accounts / Finance Department.
  • Strong accounting and consolidation skills.

  • Co-ordinate, manage and update solution team on technical support team priorities; manage changes or conflicts through agreed processes with the technical support team

  • Implement the business process review or quality assurance program to achieve process excellence. Where required, perform various quality assurance tests and analyses in accordance with assigned sections of quality assurance programs.
  • Analyze findings and produce good quality, clear and concise business process review reports/quality assurance reports that contain the findings and recommended specific and innovative changes to effect improvements. Where required, present findings to process owners or the management team.
  • Evaluate responses to business process reviews/quality assurance findings to determine reasonableness of proposed corrective actions.  Diligently follow-up on the corrective or preventive actions.
  • Assist management by identifying and implementing process improvements, deriving measures for process improvements and researching and applying best practices.
  • Perform documentation activities in-between review assignments.
  • Coach and train process owners and relevant staff on the new or improved business processes.
  • Understand clients’ business processes.  
  • Provide or manage ongoing support for existing applications; prioritize new issues and working with the customers to determine the best use of IT resources in order to best address their business needs.
  • Act as the representative and be the client’s "single contact".  Formally documenting prioritized solution requirements that are aligned with technical and business feasibility.  Plan and execute acceptance testing.
  • Provide consultation to clients and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Job Specifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business IT or Business Administration or Management or equivalent.
